exam schedule is out. 16th, 22nd & 25th. yah. august. pfft. that doesnt include all the prac tests i'm having starting from the 24th of JULY!

ytd, me and lia were talking about maids. dont remember why. but den i counted and realised that i had AT LEAST 11 maids in a 8/9 year period. isnt that alot?

tomorrow is racial harmony day. hmm. just now after i went to make my specs, rafidah came over to grab some costumes, actually only one. but yah.. we were chit chatting all the way till now. sigh. pam misses raf. =( AND FITRIA STOP GIVING EXCUSES!!!

tomorrow is another boring day. blearghhh!!! have i said that i hate school? yeah.

World Cup has come to an end. Sigh.

Finals: Italy Vs France. Italy won the French in a penalty shoot, 5-3. Happy! Zidane got sent off during extra time. I really dont know what he was thinking. Why did he suddenly behave like a bull and decide to head Materazzi in the chest? *shrugs* Wanna watch the replay. But... Its quite late lah. Sigh. What a way for the French captain to end his last match. He didnt even get to receive his Silver Medal. But he did score a rather cute penalty, where it bounced off the bar and fell less than an inch over the line.

Second term of school has been going so far. With exams so close, it just gets more annoying day after day. I dont seem to be able to do Slit Lamp Biomicroscopy for Clinical Optometry. I'm kinda slow for Glazing in Ophthalmic Optics, but thats probably due to the fact that SOME PEOPLE FIND IT SO HARD TO PART WITH THE GLAZING MACHINE! They just hog on to it, like its some precious thing. Clin Opt lectures are putting me to sleep, etc. And GEMS, thats a very dull modules taught by a FAKE lecturer. Urgh.

2nd lesson in Las Lilas. Not bad. Time passes way faster than they were in SP. Hopefully, it stays like that for the rest of the time. 8 more weeks to go for the first beginner stage to come to an end.

Went for the 'function' ytd. Wah. It was held at this bungalow in Siglap. My mom kept mentioning that the place was sooooooooooooo far away and they said the house wasnt really that big. But when i went in, i fell in love with that place. SOOOOO PRETTYY!!! Who cares if it was in some ulu area or was small for a bungalow? SOOO NICE! If only i had that kinda cash. Haha. i can continue dreaming.

Germany emerged e 3rd in the FIFA World Cup. They also bagged the Best Young Player Award through Podolski. Actually, Christiano Ronaldo was a candidate for it, and one of the hot favourites too. But he had to so smart in sending Rooney off, and all his other stupid acts, which costed his the Award. Serves him right.

Germany 3 - 1 Portugal

2 very nice goals by Schweinsteiger and 1 own goal by Petit, which was initiated by Schweinsteiger's freekick. As for Portugal's goal, it was by Nuno Gomes, initiated by Luis Figo. 2nd half was quite a good game, especially for Germany. Last game for Oliver Kahn, who did good as the German keeper. Saved tons of Ronaldo's shots. Also the last game for Luis Figo, who came on in the midst, and did his part with the Portugal goal at the 88th minute. It is also Pauleta's last. 4th place for Portugal is not bad lah. Haha.

Next match at 3am. FINALS! Italy Vs France.

Got GEMS at 8am tml. But who is going? Self declared half day me. =)

France 1 - 0 Portugal

Zidane's penalty brings France to the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2006. So now in the finals, it'll be France Vs Italy. Never expected it. Haha.

Today's match was okay. Seriously, Portugal had a few of opportunities that they gave away. Christiano Ronaldo was not very bad in this game. He was of SOME use during the 2nd half. It was funny how people booed whenever he got the ball during the first half. Muahaha. But that doesnt change the fact that i cant stand him. Deco wasnt really at his best but still not bad. During the last 2-3 minutes, Ricardo (GK) even came to play forward to help their team. Quite cute/sweet/nice (i dont really know how to describe). Thats about it i guess. Zidane surely is enjoying his last World Cup. Good for him.

goodness gracious me! From the 1st minute to the 90th minute, i was sooo sleepy. I even took a couple of 5-minute naps in between. Den extra time happened, same story. Germany 0 - 0 Italy. 28th minute of extra time, when everyone was almost convinced that the penalty kick outs were gonna start, Italy scored the first goal! Totally didn't expect that. So i picked up my phone to update and by the time i finish typing the message, the second goal came in!! goodness! 2 goals in 2 minutes! The second goal happened even before the Italian could finish celebrating the first goal (or before the Germans could get over it). Germany, the host nation, one of the hot favourites, is out. This World Cup is sooo "fascinating". Maybe the word is unpredictable.

So whatever i thought would happen in the finals (Brazil vs Germany) is so not happening. Now it is Italy vs Whoever-Wins-Tomorrow. France vs Portugal. That is gonna be one interesting match. But seriously, with Christiano Ronaldo on the field, its gonna be annoying as well. Maybe he'd get injured within the first 10 minutes again. Or maybe this time, he gets sent off for pushing some French player. Oh. How i wish!

No school today, because of graduation. yay?

yesterday's world cup matches were... interesting.

first match, England vs Portugal. i stayed up to watch. But i slept like during extra time. the last time i saw the tv was at 27minutes of extra time. That meant like only 3 minutes away from penalty. urgh. and i only woke up at 2.30am with some past years wc progamme on air. Now, am watching the whole thing again. bleahhh~

yea. Portugal won. watched this game as a neutral audience and i pity England. esp during the 2nd half. 10 men left. Beckham was substituted. Rooney was sent off. And Crouch was their forward. sad. Hargreaves played very well on behalf of England. but it wasnt enough to bring them to the semis.

AND BOY! I CANT STAND CHRISTIANO RONALDO!! urgh. initially, there were talks about Real Madrid wanting to buy him over. But Man U said, they didnt want to sell him. Now, maybe after this WC, Man U may just sell him over, that is if Real Madrid is still interested in him lah. urgh.

NOW, for the shocker(surprise?) BRAZIL is out. MUAHAHAH! ADIOS BRASIL!!!! =)=) i'm happy. i didnt believe it initially. actually, i'd be happy if the french went out too. so, now that brazil is out... the next favourites for the finals would probably be the French and Germans. if that were to be the case, i'd prefer Germany to win. One more week.
